| Give back the dolphins' "Liberty"
"Come Alive Cruises" has announced a Western Caribbean cruise which incorporates "close encounters" with captive dolphins, within both the Bahamas and Mexico. The cruise will be taking place on the "Liberty", a cruise ship supplied by Carnival Cruise Lines. This cruise will also be a potential client for any new facilities within the Cayman Islands as they visit Grand Cayman.
"Come Alive Cruises" is a subsidiary of Come Alive International and the Marine Connection is urging them to remove this excursion from the itinerary before the cruise goes ahead in February. Rather ironically, the cruise will be taking place on a liner called the "Liberty", a cruise ship supplied and run by Carnival Cruise Lines.
Cruise ship passengers make up approximately 90% of the visitors to the Caribbean's captive dolphin facilities. Without this income, it is unlikely that these facilities would exist.
Take Action!
Please write a polite letter to the following people encouraging them to remove the close encounters with captive dolphins before the cruise sets off in February.
