Fears grow for Lolita

Information received from contacts inside the Miami Seaquarium and colleagues in Miami have confirmed rumours that after 35 years in captivity, the health of Lolita the killer whale is deteriorating rapidly.

People at the recent reopening following Hurricane Wilma could be forgiven for thinking that Lolita no longer existed; as she is no longer a major feature on the posters or flyers for the facility, in short they are already phasing her out making way for her replacement. However like others, the Marine Connection feels that the Seaquarium should not be allowed to replace Lolita when she goes and will continue to support the campaign.

Please take a moment to watch a clip of the award winning documentary “Lolita – Slave to Entertainment” and if possible support the campaign by purchasing a copy of the video.
