Spinner dolphins need your help

The Marine Connection are working with the Egyptian Society of Animal Friends to raise awareness of the disturbance to the wild spinner dolphin population at Shab Samadai Reef in Egypt. Our concern for this situation is growing and we have had reports of many more operators organising swim with dolphin trips to this vulnerable population.   Spinner dolphins feed at night but need the sanctuary of the shallow bays to rest during the day, this is being disrupted at Samadai Reef and something has to be done about it before the dolphins are driven away from their home territory due to human intervention.

Please, please take a minute to read this and sign the petition.  It is very obvious that the tour boats, swimmers and divers are having a huge impact on these dolphins and something has to be done to stop this onslaught as a matter of urgency.
