| A new dolphinarium for Germany? The Marine Connection are disappointed to receive information that there is plans to build a new dolphinarium, to be completed in Autumn 2007, on the isle of Rügen, a famous holiday resort in the north of Germany.
Major German magazines and newspapers have already reported quite critically about the plans. Besides the "usual" dolphin shows, the company behind the construction project is keen to offer commercial dolphin therapies for disabled children. It has been indicated that six children per day are planned to be treated.
