The Marine Connection works both nationally and internationally for the welfare, protection and conservation of dolphins, whales and porpoises (cetaceans) - from the smallest to the largest species, they all need protecting.

Around the world, dolphins and whales face many threats but no matter how many issues the charity deals with on a daily basis, we never ignore urgent pleas to act immediately on behalf of these marine mammals that require assistance or protection.

The charity makes a positive difference to the daily lives and long term survival of thousands of dolphins, whales and porpoises worldwide. Our objectives are achieved through a mix of campaigning, education, research programmes, events and press coverage. It is vital that everyone understands the importance of protecting these marine mammals and their natural habitat if we are to ensure their future surival.

The charity's work has been successful in many areas, however there is much still to achieve and to see long term changes the Marine Connection needs to continue its' work in order to protect cetaceans. Public support is vital in helping the charity to achieve its aims; all funds raised not only help continue our existing work but also to expand upon vital new projects & campaigns on a global scale.
