Another incident at Dolphin Academy

Just what is happening to the dolphins at Dolphin Academy? Marine Connection has just received reports of yet another accident which occurred last week, this time involving seven year old Tela, one of the youngest dolphins at the facility.

According to Aruba based marine mammal conservation organisation AMMF (Aruba Marine Mammal Foundation), an employee was struck several times by the animal’s tail which resulted in him being sent to hospital but he was later released. It would appear that the animals at this facility are showing signs of stress, therefore the Marine Connection is concerned for the future welfare of both the dolphins and visitors to the facility.
