plan new dolphin facilities
The Marine Connection has learned that four new marine parks are planned for the Ukraine.
The construction of two facilities has already commenced with two more to follow in the Genichesk region of Kherson province.
Although exact details are still unknown one of the facilities, developed by Aqua-Capital Limited is said to include a dolphinarium. This will be in addition to numerous facilities already in operation within the Ukraine which keep bottlenose dolphins captured from Black Sea.
Although the exportation of Black Sea bottlenose dolphins was banned in 2002, illegal transfers to facilities worldwide still occur.

Please write a polite letter to officials in Genichesk region asking them not to allow plans for projects which include captive dolphins to proceed:
