London to Amsterdam - challenge with a cause
Over past months Alan Ridderhof has been cycling around many UK cities including Brighton, Oxford and Cambridge - his aim?, to raise money for charity.
Alan also successfully cycled from London to Paris - planning his own routes, carrying his own luggage through rain or shine, all to enable money raised via donations to go directly to charities he is fundraising for. In his travels so far, Alan has clocked up is excess of 1000km. Wednesday 25th August will see Alan commencing upon his next challenge - cycling from London to Amsterdam to raise funds to help dolphins and whales. Accompanied by cycling companion Baljit, Alan will cover 350 miles over 3 days.
Alan comments "I am really pleased to be doing this trip on behalf of Marine Connection who work to protect and conserve the worlds' dolphins and whales. Being a small, but effective charity, money raised from events such as this are a vital to funding the charitys' conservation efforts on behalf of these magnificant marine mammals, helping to protect them and their natural habitat now and in the future."
