See Red campaign
The See Red campaign was set up in response to the expansion in proposed captive dolphin facilities in the areas bordering the Red Sea. The Red Sea is a divers paradise and habitat to wild populations of dolphins. To have captive dolphins situated so close to this diverse marine environment is a major contradiction. The See Red campaign raises awareness regarding the issues surrounding captive dolphins in the Red Sea area whilst campaigning against existing and further development of proposed facilities. The truth about Dolphin Reef, Eilat, Israel
Dolphin Reef, Eilat is a captive dolphin facility which claims to offer something unique. It claims to be an 'ecological site' where people can 'observe dolphins in their natural habitat' and where the dolphins choose to be with people. Sadly, this facility is far from unique.
